Terms of Trade

North Exhibition Services Ltd operate under the following terms of trade and in the event of casual employment without a contract, these terms will apply to our service:

1. North Exhibition Services will perform a dynamic risk assessment for any job employing 2 technicians or fewer and proceed accordingly unless otherwise asked.
2. RAMS can be provided for any installation involving 4 technicians or more and we will discuss any potential areas of concern with the client before beginning any task.
3. Technicians will observe the highest level of Health and Safety on any site and will be properly trained on any equipment or machinery that is used.
4. Technicians will treat all works with the same level of care in accordance to Government Indemnity Standard and conservation standard practice.
5. It is understood that North Exhibition Services are engaged according to our reputation for observing the highest standards of art handling and workmanship. Having taken every demonstrable care however, any damage to works that may occur should be covered by the owner of the work on a “Nail to Nail’ insurance policy. If a client needs specific insurance on any particular job this must be discussed and arranged beforehand.
6. Cancellations of our services within 48 hours of 9am start time will incur a standard day rate per technician.
7. Technicians work from 9-5 standard day with an hour for lunch for the agreed day rate.
8. Payment of invoices must be made within 30 days of invoice date. Late payment fees apply according to statutory guidelines.
